AMMRIC Conference 2008

A one-day conference will be held as a lead in to the 3-day Australian Institute of Animal Management (AIAM) conference, to be held at the Holiday Inn, The Esplanade Darwin.

AMMRIC - 14th October

Qld Pest Animal Symposium 2008

This year's symposium will be held at the Hilton Cairns, 19-22 October 2008.  The conference theme is "Pests on the Move - pest animals in paradise".  There are a number of sub-themes.  Click <here> for more information.

Early bird discounted registration is now available. Abstract submissions are also being received now - submit online by clicking the 'Abstract Submission' link on the <website>.

AWMS 2008

The 2008 Australasian Wildlife Management Society (AWMS) Conference will be held at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle, Western Australia, from 24-27 November. The theme of the conference is 'Human Impacts on Wildlife', encompassing such topics as invasive and threatened species, climate change, habitat disturbance and sustainable use of wildlife. The 2008 conference will feature a number of high-profile invited speakers as well as a fantastic student symposium and prizes.

Important dates

  • August 29 - Closing date for submission of abstracts (oral / poster)
  • September 20 - Authors advised of acceptance of abstracts
  • October 17 - Early bird registration closes
  • November 24-27 – Conference
