Applying for a student prize

Applications for this annual award should address one (or both) of the following categories:

Academic

Either:

i) Published* paper (as senior author). Students should submit their paper with a supporting paragraph explaining why the work is of significance; or

ii) A successful application (as principal investigator) for research funds from a competitive grant scheme. Students should submit a copy of their grant application and provide a short description of the conditions of the grant scheme and a paragraph describing the significance of this funding for their PhD studies.

Industry collaboration

Paragraph from the student outlining how links were formed and their role in developing the collaboration. Submissions should also include a paragraph from a representative from the industry partner supporting the students claims and highlighting the benefit of the collaboration to their organisation.

Prize

Up to $3000 grant to support travel and attendance at a conference of the winners choice at any point during their candidature.

Applications for consideration should be submitted by email to Thomas Heinsohn by early September.  The winner will be generally be announced by the CEO at the IA CRC Partners meeting.
